Race Information

The 2011 National Race to End Women's Cancer will be an 8K with an option to run/walk one mile.
Due to recent increased security concerns in our nation's capital, DC Police have required us to change the race from a 10K to an 8K course, with a
1-mile fun run option. While an 8K (just under 5 miles) still offers an opportunity for competitive runners to challenge themselves, our main goal is to provide a race that allows all those who are passionate about curing women's cancer a chance to be part of this event -- including, most importantly, the survivors for whom we run, and their family and friends.
