They're six doctors you hope to never meet in a hospital, yet you could have
a great time rocking out to their music. By profession, they are gynecologic oncologists charged with guiding women (and their families) through gynecologic cancer diagnosis and treatment and - hopefully - to a cure.
With each case, their highest hope is to deliver the sweetest words a cancer patient can hear: "No Evidence of Disease."

In March 2008, the annual medical conference for the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists reported new medical research, as always. But this conference would reveal another breakthrough: the creation of N.E.D. - a rock band with a mission - and the inception of a charitable cancer foundation of the same name which also is aligned with the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation.

The mission of the band is to enhance knowledge about gynecologic cancers to save lives, as well as to bring hope through music to women undergoing treatment and to the world at large. The doctors strongly believe that music heals. They are in it to heal themselves, their patients and everyone who will listen.
